[07 Oct 2008|10:47pm] connections [barron] sorry to appear on the friends page twice, but barron could use some lines. i was talking to dahline, petrini, and mcwilliams until i lost track of everything in ~pbads so i want to continue to discuss with you guys. his credits are up and he's mostly know for bobby drake, harry osborn, somewhat aaron samuels in mean girls, and barney stinson for 'how i met your mother.' i'd love past/current/future co-stars for him, obviously. i am thinking about him doing a fashion line in the future so maybe a potential partnership or something. as for barron's personality, he's quiet and discreet. he's not much of a person to be in the spotlight because he doesn't want to be unless it's for his career and not his personal life. he is married to pdavin on a whim gay marriage, but they are trying to see where it goes so friends on his to be friends with barron as well. he lives in beverly hills, but frequents nyc for porter. he's a nice guy who can be seen as a jerk because he's quiet and shy; it just takes some time for him to open up. sorry that was really all over the place, i'm super tired. but i'd love to get lines for barron so he can thrive here. i've heard nothing but good remarks for the game so i'm excited to see him work out. anything and everything would be awesome. i like minimal ooc planning for the spontaneity factor so if you'd want to just see what happens with him and someone, i'm fine with that, too. thanks! 16 comments|post comment

[07 Oct 2008|08:08pm] connections [dahline] Hello hello! This here is Amelia Dahline; the daughter of a famous opera singer and composer, half-sister to dentremont, and new wife to parky. Born in Paris and raised in both Paris and London, she is a 20 year old opera singer turned actress. She released her first album at age twelve and kept with it when she was sixteen. It was then that she got her first role in Pride and Prejudice and she’s been acting ever since. Her credits in full are here and the role she is probably the most known for is her upcoming role as Bella in Twilight. All of her other roles up to this point have been supporting. Personality wise, she is very quiet and quite bashful. She doesn’t really put up much of a fight and is more of a peace maker than anything. Except when it comes to the paparazzi because she pretty much wants to throw a tomato at their head. She is a very passionate person and is always trying to go to charity events though she usually gets bored and leaves shortly thereafter but it is the thought that counts. She is also always making people gifts and sometimes leaves them anonymously. Hell, she would leave Amy Winehouse a jar full of cookies if she could. She really puts her heart and soul into everything and is probably one of the most genuine people you will ever meet because of it. She’s also very spontaneous and doesn’t like to think things through too much because she says it causes her to lose the will to do something and ruins the moment. It was this kind of belief that landed her in a whirlwind romance to the mentioned above. Though to be fair, she had been friends with him before, okay. And that’s about it! [07 Oct 2008|01:06pm] connections [parky] I'd like you all to meet Parker McWilliams (pb: Shia Labeouf), younger brother of mcwilliams. He's 23 years old and has been around for quite a while. For a long time Parker tried to persuade himself that he didn't want to be an actor, mostly because he didn't want to be the same as his sister and dad, but eventually gave in and ended up playing Jess in Gilmore Girls. He's a smart guy and school was really important for him so, after graduating high school, he decided to give college life a try and ended up studying English literature at UCLA. Unfortunately, he got bored after a semester and tempted by the scripts he'd been receiving decided to head back into acting. His desire to do something different from his family has really shone through in his film choices, though, as you can see from his credits here. He and dahline have been together since they met on the set of Twilight and, after a sort of whirlwind romance, the two eloped in June much to the surprise of...well, everyone. Since their return to work and the biz they call show the paparazzi are being more stalkerish than usual, trying to find out details about their lives and they often report on Parker in a negative manner just because he's very protective of Amelia and hates photographers snapping pictures of them. Personality-wise, Parker can certainly come across as a bit of an ass to people who don't know him. He's very opinionated and doesn't even attempt to mince his words. To his friends though (and I'd love for him to have some please!), he is a good guy at heart, with a tendency towards sarcasm and a quick wit. Meet Alyse Laine, 3rd child in the epic Laine family. She is 23 years old and currently living in Sydney AUS. As far as work goes, she is relatively new to serious acting, she did some theatre during high school and because of her famous family was offered representation by an agency who put her in some commercials in Australia and got her an audition for the infamous soap opera 'Neighbors' which she has appeared in for the last 4 years and has filmed episodes for through the beginning of next year. She also did one Australian film this year, her first, and is set to start filming her very small role in The Lovely Bones soon for her first role in American film. Personality wise she is very bubbly and optimistic. She is genuinely confident in herself and always willing to try new things. She's not super huge on partying but not afraid to throw some back either. Obviously, her family is very important to her and she is fiercely loyal to them and anyone she cares for. She dated and was engageed to her high school sweetheart up until this summer to help him keep up appearances even though he came out as gay to her about 3 years ago, so that just goes to show that she's very loyal, sympathetic, and unable to hold a grudge. Alyse is really into shopping and high end fashion, always bugging her siblings to take her to shows during fashion week. She's a huge music fan even though she isn't all that musically talented herself and has a wide variety of tastes ranging from her favorites of all time The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Madonna, and Prince to techno (Daft Punk) and cheesy pop music (Britney Spears) to grungy rock bands of New York and Londo (The Velvet Underground, The Strokes, The Wombats). She's also a big sports fan, loyal follower of the Sydney Swans football team since moving to Sydney for school though she admittedly knows little about the rules, just likes to cheer over-zealously for the right team. [05 Oct 2008|04:49pm] connections [augustlaine] Hello world! Now that all the things that caused me to die off are no longer existent (aka graduating, etc), I have decided to resurrect this guy. His name is August Laine, he's mostly a music producer but lately has begun working on his own music. His voice is Daniel Johns/ Silverchair. His siblings can be thanked for that one (specifically alfielaine and aubreylaine). In the time he's been gone, he went a little more recluse than usual, but wound up locking himself in the studio to finish up most of his music. He had started attempting to pursue his music career before, but it was put at a halt when someone stole his laptop and leaked all of his music. And, with the deterioration of his last relationship with jayda, his music went in another direction after this halt, and he's started over. He's worked with Soundwave, Barclay, other local bands in Australia, and also has judged on Australian Idol. He's also written music for the artists in the show. He has played since he was a kid in the station his parents run and own, but as of late he hasn't done so. He isn't as popular as his famous siblings, and he likes it that way. August is pretty reserved, laid back, but willing to tell you what he thinks if you ask him for his honest opinion. He's close to his family, but closer to the older half of his siblings, namely from Aubrey up. He may be pretty quiet and to himself, but he is willing to make new friends, get new jobs, anything to keep him busy. He's in a place in his life where he wants to try to start over. [04 Oct 2008|09:59am] connections [dentremont] Good morning rogerebert! Allow me to introduce you to Lucas d'Entremont, a French-born, London-raised, New York-based music snob and rockstar. I haven't got his credits quite nailed down as of yet, but he was thrown ruthlessly into fame and the British music scene when he was a teenager in a little indie band with his then-girlfriend and muse in a project called Underscored (sound of Eisley). When they broke up and the band was finished, he retreated to New York where he has been based out of ever since. While working on his own project (I have no idea what these credits are), producing for other artists and pledging his life's savings to Marlboro and Starbucks, Lucas was recruited by an old aquaintance to play and co-write for her band (who are undecided but may sound like Garbage, and are sort of a 'supergroup' of already established musicians). Working aside, Lucas is a pretty grouchy kinda dude. He's obsessed with music and isn't quite over his misspent youth, and actually milks it for all it's worth - in both songwriting and general moodiness. Also, he was raised my a French mother, so he is generally pessimistic by nature! He is the father of codysinclair's child which has managed to make him a little less of a grump, and can manage to be fun when he forgets to be a tortured artist. He's good friends with the Laine boys and will sit and discuss guitars with Alfie for days (seriously, days), but that is all I really have for now. [04 Oct 2008|12:59am] connections [bradycollins] Hello, wonderful people of rogerebert! At long last, I have a computer of my own again and I'm ready to come back from a too-long hiatus. Since there are a whole hell of a lot of new faces my characters haven't met yet, I thought I'd post here again to see if I can make some new connections. This guy here is Brady Collins, who's the frontman of the Boston-based band, the Sons of Uisneach (with the sound of the Dropkick Murphys). During the summer, he also dipped his toe into the acting pool, filming the role of Murphy McManus in The Boondock Saints. Brady was born into a working-class South Boston Irish-Catholic family, and despite having an apartment out in LA to stay when the band is recording, he's very adamant about Boston being his real home and is very close to his family. He enjoys a lot of the perks of being in a well-known band, but he's still pretty down-to-earth. He's been a favorite of tabloids and paparazzi because of his love of drinking, partying hard, and the ladies, though since the beginning of 2008, he'd reined in his womanizing ways due to a relationship with former child star (and famous virgin) Ramona Taylor. The pair were even almost married earlier in the year, but the wedding was called off because Ramona's father didn't approve of his daughter's rowdy boyfriend. Besides his bandmates, aubreylaine is his closest friend, and he's friendly with most of the people in her circle (which I believe has widened while I've been away). I've also got ltate, who got into a bit of trouble as a teen in small-town Tennessee and was sent to live with his minister uncle and aunt afterwards. Following in his uncle's footsteps, he became a minister and due to his charisma and powerful sermons, eventually worked his way to the attention of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Trinity Broadcasting Network. In 1997, he founded his own church in Los Angeles, and his weekly broadcast on TBN is watched by millions of viewers. His wife is a well-known Christian recording artist, and they were married shortly before he founded his church. In keeping with his Southern Baptist roots, he's rather conservative, though he doesn't go to Jerry Falwell-like extremes in his conservatism. The run down on him is he's the bassist in the band Barclay, he's originally from the UK, but currently lives in Toronto, he's hopelessly in love with his bandmate/best friend jayda, and his brohusband is alfielaine. He's a goof ball, really loud, generally inappropriate and an all around nice guy. Unless he's stoned because then he's just a right weirdo. He's the more crazy out of the band though he believes his bassist is at times. He's one of nillidge's best friends, having known Nathan for a number of years and has played a few shows with FSF when IM was off tour. If you see Ethan and Nathan together on the street, beware. It could be their very own Punk'd episode for all the public knows. He's done movies prior to forming the band but since the band's made it big, he's been juggling in between filming and performing. He loves racing (I don't care how cliche it is) and he loves to attend various NASCAR events or drive his own cars. Most of the time he likes to play pranks on just about anyone within his radius (including Nathan). So yes, it's late and I need to go to bed but everything inside of his journal is unlocked. She's spastic, quirky and a huge klutz. She grew up in a very religious family and is the youngest of six toe headed blue eyed children. Her vices are pancakes & banana rolls from California Vegan, bicycles rides along Venice Beach, camping in her backyard and piggy back rides. She doesn't smoke cigarettes but she's all for the legalization of marijuana. She's an optimist and definitely toots her own horn; she prides herself on being an individual [as much as one can be in the entertainment industry] and reminds her fans regularly that actors pick their noses and clean their toilets too. She has a mouth like a sailor and though she can dress up like the best of 'em she prefers to be in pants and vintage band tees. Her cocktail of choice is an LA Water; and if you want to treat her to a meal no meat on her plate please! She's big into charity work and her number one charity of choice is Cure Autism Now, inspired by her autistic nephew Joseph. [30 Sep 2008|10:36am] connections [mulley] Drewie Mulley, yeah he has the lamest name on the planet. He refuses to respond to "Andrew" and a majority of the time hates being called "Drew." Perhaps it has something to do with his maturity level or lack of, actually. He has the face of a sweet, innocent boy but considering some of the movies he had a part in, and considering how really demented his mind his, the fucked up gore that he comes up with...he's not all that sweet and innocent as his face lets on. Actually, he really isn't someone you would expect to be the way that he is. He's a big nerd, of course I mean...look at the people he hangs out with (holdenk, wendyf, ekennison), so obviously he's got one hell of an imagination. Alcohol, alcohol, and cartoons are the way to his heart. He has a tendency to get a little bit crazy...well more crazy then he is, when drunk. He does a lot of things that he normally wouldn't. His favorite thing though is shocking people. He does what you wouldn't expect and he enjoys the way he can shock people. He loves horror movies, he loves his friends, and most importantly the boy just loves his life in general. I know this is coming out to be the lamest ad post on the planet, but that is mainly due to the fact that...Drewie is not all that complicated. Not in the least bit. At the moment I don’t have much for her, she is the 19 year old younger sister of petrini. Personality wise, she is a bit of a fire cracker, ever since she was five she has known she wanted to be famous – even though she has been modeling since she was three. Her parents had a very hands off approach to most of her career though they limited how far she could travel, what sort of work she did, etc. She loves the lifestyle and vibe of Hollywood and pretty much is the opposite of her sister in that respect. [30 Sep 2008|12:48am] connections [wilko] i better do this before i forget! i'm a little bit of a scatterbrain. meet dylan wilkinson (or simply wilko if he feels comfortable enough around you) he's 21 years old and currently lives in los angeles with his father and his younger sister whose sole purpose in life is to wreak havoc. it's thanks to his psychotic stage mom that he found his true calling, even though he'll never admit to it, and after a few years of small guest roles on well known tv dramas he hit the jackpot with a lead role in juno and has pretty much been cruising career-wise since then. out in public he's quiet and soft spoken, although that isn't to say that every second word out of his mouth isn't enough to make even a sailor blush. behind closed doors it's a different case, he's insanely hyperactive and never shuts up, but he's an open and friendly crazy so he's very approachable. i'm definitely up for co-workers, but other than that this guy is a blank slate and i'm fully open to suggestions! 47 comments|post comment

[26 Sep 2008|05:11pm] connections [lambertini] Okay, kidlings, this is Wesley (Wes) Lambertini and he's the bastard responsible for Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1-2 and that little new movie called Star Trek. I'm kidding, or am I? He has acted in six movies, wrote five movies, directed four movies and is now on Supernatural guest starring in the fourth season. His father is responsible for creating the legendary Star Trek universe and both he and his mother continue to keep the fandom alive. He has a column on the official site where he answers questions that the fans email to him. It's something he loves so much because he loves interacting with fans. But yes, he and leinahtan both collaborated on three movies together including Star Trek along with other movies. He was hounded by holdenk to join The Dark Knight in which he did in order to shut him up - I'm kidding. He did it because he was a fan of Batman and he thought it would be fun to try playing an antagonist. Right now, he's just hanging out on Supernatural and hoping to take a break from movies once the season/show is over so he could focus on writing new scripts. I'm down for anything really!
